A normal working day at the Riceland Grain Elevators in Tuckerman turned tragic in May of 1964 when three men were trapped by the collapse of a bin full of soybeans resulting in the loss of two mens' lives and the near death of the third man in a terrible accident. Acy Clark and Charles Henderson both perished when the bin collapsed in on them. The Tuckerman Record reported this as page one news the following week. Benjy Turner was the third man trapped inside the bin. He was the lone survivor of the accident. His step daughter, Debbie Smith, wrote a story about that day that is included with this article. 5 pages
